Will FC Wil dribble out all forecasts in the new year? The eastern Swiss start the second half of the season as leaders near Vaduz on Friday. Before the season, Wil was seen more as a candidate for relegation than for promotion. But one saw it completely differently even before the league started: Captain Philipp Muntwiler (35) saw no reason why you shouldn’t have a say at the front – especially since there are up to three promoted teams this season.

Muntwiler says on the fringes of the test match at FCZ: “In the Challenge League, the differences between the teams are not huge. With a good team spirit you can get a lot out of it. We really are one. I have never experienced such team spirit in any team.”
