HC Lugano doubts the judgment of the single judge. The reason is Daniel Carr’s injury after a check by Robin Grossmann.

In the championship match of the National League Biel – Lugano (3-0) on December 3rd, Lugano striker Daniel Carr (31) was injured when he checked the rink by Biel defender Robin Grossmann (35). On the ice, Grossmann was given a 2-minute penalty.

The scene was examined by the Player Safety Officer after the game and passed on to the single judge, but without a request for further disciplinary measures. After reviewing the action, the single judge also decided not to open any proceedings against Grossmann.
