Comeback in the last quarter
Brady and the Bucs make the playoffs
On the second-last game day of the regular season, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New York Giants book their spots in the NFL playoffs.

Permanent guest in the NFL playoffs: Tom Brady.
Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers made spectacular use of their first match point to reach the playoffs in the NFL professional football league. In the duel with pursuer Carolina Panthers, the team around the star quarterback prevailed thanks to a strong fourth quarter with 30:24, at the beginning of the final section the Bucs were still 10:21 behind.
Thanks to the success, the 2021 Super Bowl winner made the victory in the NFC South perfect before the last matchday, despite a moderate record. Brady (45), making the playoffs for the 14th year in a row, contributed three touchdown passes and no interceptions to his team’s eighth win in 16 games of the season.
Hope for the Packers
Also in the playoffs – for the first time since 2006 – are the New York Giants after 38:10 at the Indianapolis Colts.
The playoffs could also become an issue for the Green Bay Packers. The team of four-time MVP Aaron Rodgers celebrated their fourth consecutive win with a 41-17 against Minnesota and would be firmly in the race for the Super Bowl with a win on the final day of play against the Detroit Lions.
