At over 100 km/h, Corinne Suter flies uncontrollably over the last jump of the Cortina descent. The consequence? A high air level and a violent crash. The anxious question is: How bad is the downhill Olympic champion injured?
Suter first drives to the finish line on his own, then runs away with a pained face. The examination takes place in the hospital, and a computer tomography is performed. According to Blick information, the results are pleasing: Nothing is broken, torn or torn. And she didn’t suffer a concussion either.
Whether Suter will start again on Saturday is open. She has severe bruises on her body, as well as abrasions on the left side of her face. It’s possible that her left eye will also swell shut – she’ll have to wait out the night.
One thing is certain: Participation in the World Cup in France (from February 6th) is not in danger for the Schwyzer.
