Lucerne’s Gregor Deschwanden took 21st place in Austria on Sunday in the second ski flying event at the Kulm. This enabled him to advance to the final round for the seventh time in a row. This is in contrast to Dominik Peter, who has to make do with 38th place.
In the run-up to the competition, a qualification took place again. The cut was exactly 200 meters. Simon Ammann (197.5m) and Killian Peier (187.5m) did not manage this distance.
Halvor Egner Granerud, the winner of the Four Hills Tournament, took over the yellow jersey of the World Cup leader on the first ski flying weekend of the season. The Norwegian wins both events. Since the tour opening victory in Oberstdorf a month ago, he has been on the podium for the 10th time in a row. (SDA)
