Somewhere in the streets of Olten around 20 years ago. A group of teenagers are playing hockey. A little kid can join in. It’s five-year-old Denis Malgin. His brother Dimitri, called Dima, who was nine years his senior, always took him with him. And gladly, not because he had to. “That’s how we were brought up, brothers do things together, it was fun,” the 34-year-old looks back.

So that Denis feels part of the group despite the big age difference, “we just let him score the goals for us older ones,” recalls Dima with a smile, “street hockey was very good for our stick technique.” The older Malgin brother already plays for Oltens Juniors.
