Former boxer Max Hebeisen has died at the age of 75. As an amateur, he once won several Swiss championship titles.

Former boxer Max Hebeisen passed away on Tuesday at the age of 75. This was confirmed by the Berner’s family to the “BärnToday” news portal.
Hebeisen won several Swiss welterweight championship titles as an amateur. In 1968 he finished ninth in his category at the Olympic Games in Mexico. As a professional boxer, Hebeisen had 37 wins, five losses and one draw.
As a trainer, Hebeisen was the right hand of Swiss boxing legend Charly Bühler. (SDA)
