Kai Brünker is desperately looking for his father.
Since December 23, there has been no trace of Dirk Brünker, the father of Magdeburg striker Kai Brünker. The 61-year-old was last seen in his hometown of Villingen in the Black Forest near the Swiss border in the “Ott” inn. According to the Villingen police, he did not return home in the evening, which is why his family reported him missing.
Since Saturday, the police have been looking for Brünker’s father with a helicopter and thermal imaging camera. The German life-saving society has also searched streams and shore areas. So far, however, all attempts have been unsuccessful.
Population should search basements and garages
Brünker himself organized a search campaign via Instagram, in which more than 400 people took part – unfortunately this was also in vain. “Thank you to everyone who was there today. We were unfortunately unsuccessful in finding my father. But we were successful because we searched a very large area,” wrote Brünker.
Furthermore, the German asks the population of Villingen and the surrounding area to keep their eyes open. “We urge everyone who was not at home over Christmas and the public holidays to search their own garages, gardens, cellars, etc..”
