“He is very well brought up”

Marwin Hitz (35), BVB’s goalkeeper for many years, gets enthusiastic when he talks about his former teammate Jude Bellingham (19). “This is a top player with a top attitude. One of the hardest working people I’ve met so far. He doesn’t set any limits to the top, always wants to get better, »says the Thurgau, who has been playing for FCB since this summer.
The policeman’s son Bellingham is also a super guy in his private life: “He is very well brought up, a very respectful person.” But on the pitch, he could do it differently. “He overpaces from time to time and maybe goes beyond certain limits,” says Hitz. “But that also makes him strong.”
He’s worth over 150 million
There is no need to discuss Bellingham’s talent at all. “He can dribble, even in tight spaces. He can score goals, defend, he can do almost everything. If he stays healthy, then all gates are open to him.”
At the World Cup, the 19-year-old is England’s outstanding man. A move to a top club is only a matter of time. Liverpool is in pole position, but Paris is also keen on the exceptional player. “Everyone wants him, I won’t hide our interest,” says PSG boss Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
It won’t be cheap. Bellingham’s market value is estimated at over 150 million.
