Kevin Fiala is still in goal mood-
Kevin Fiala (26) leads his Los Angeles Kings to a 6-3 home win over the Edmonton Oilers with goals to 1-0 and 2-0 and assists to 3-1 and 4-1. The Eastern Swiss is in a rush to score: At the weekend he had already scored a hat trick in defeating the leader Vegas Golden Knights. In 44 league games this season, he’s had 15 goals and 31 assists — or more than a point a game.
The 26-year-old is fast becoming a star in the NHL. Last season, his increase in offensive production also led to underdog Minnesota unexpectedly making the playoffs. And this season, the Los Angeles Kings, who just slipped into the playoffs a year ago, are much higher than expected.
Josi victorious and goal anniversary
Not only Kevin Fiala led his team to victory in the NHL. Roman Josi (32) also scored the winning goal (to make it 1-0) in the Nashville Predators’ 3-0 away win in Ottawa. For Josi it was (qualification only) the 150th goal in the NHL. (SDA)
