Fifa is developing a new app for Xhaka and Co

Fifa has developed a data app for the players of the 32 World Cup participants for the World Cup in Qatar. There the players should be able to call up their performance data after the games, but also see, for example, “where and how often a player offers himself”.

Granit Xhaka will be able to analyze his performances at the World Cup with an app.

FIFA has developed an app for the World Cup in Qatar that players can use to analyze their individual performance data shortly after the final whistle. In the app, physical performance data as well as football-specific data such as “where and how often a player offers himself, overcomes opposing lines with a pass or puts pressure on an opponent who has the ball” should be recorded.

According to Fifa, the data should then be compared with the game recordings so that the players can “view the key moments of their personal performance in detail and from different camera angles”.
