Union Berlin wins the derby against Hertha 2-0.
Berlin remains red and white! Urs Fischer wins the derby against Hertha BSC 2-0 with his Unionern. For the Irons it is the fifth derby success in a row, on the other hand Hertha has been waiting for a complete success in the Berlin duel since December 2020.
The appearance of the Fischer-Elf in the Olympic Stadium is not really convincing, but it shines with its efficiency. In the 44th minute, Doekhi converted the first Union shot on goal of the game to make it 1-0. 20 minutes after the change of sides, the 2-0 then decides the game.
Widmer meets and Wolfsburg’s series breaks
Jonas Omlin celebrates a happy premiere: The new Gladbach keeper wins his first Bundesliga game at the third attempt. Borussia wins 4-1 away from Hoffenheim, Jonas Hofmann puts the guests, who also have Nico Elvedi on the pitch for 90 minutes, on the road to victory with an early brace.
A Swiss player, Silvan Widmer, can also make it onto the list of goalscorers this afternoon in the Bundesliga. The full-back scored in the 5-2 victory of his Mainz team to make it 2-0. This is his second goal of the current season. However, the match winner is someone else: Austrian Karim Onisiwo scored a hat-trick for Mainz.
