Aita Gasparin achieves the best result of the Swiss biathletes in the first World Cup race in 2023. With 12th place in the Pokljuka sprint, the Grisons made it into the top 20 for the fourth time this winter.
Young Amy Baserga also hits all the targets and is rewarded with 14th place and a career best result. Lena Häcki-Gross (17th) and Elisa Gasparin (18th) also show decent performances. The 21-year-old Lea Meier (32nd) can be credited with the first World Cup points.
