Granerud wins in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
The Norwegian Halvor Egner Granerud doubles in the Four Hills Tournament: after winning the opening event in Oberstdorf, he also wins the New Year’s competition in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
As in the jumping in Oberstdorf, the Norwegian flies away from the competition again. His two jumps are 140 m and 142 m long. Slovenian Anze Lanisek is second, World Cup leader Dawid Kubacki from Poland third.
Granerud travels to Austria with a lead of 15 m, where the competitions in Innsbruck and Bischofshofen are still to come.
Gregor Deschwanden, who made it into the top 30 for the first time in the second competition, is 21. (SDA)
