Takes over the Svoboda shares
Gregory Finger is now the sole owner of Lausanne
Gregory Finger is the new big boss in Lausanne. The businessman took over the shares from Petr Svoboda.
Former sports director Petr Svoboda has sold his Lausanne shares.
Gregory Finger now owns all shares in the Lausanne Hockey Group. The Russian-American businessman, who has lived in the region for more than 20 years, took over the shares of sports director Petr Svoboda, who was fired in November, as Lausanne HC announced in a communiqué.
Finger acquired the majority of shares in spring 2020 together with former NHL player and player agent Svoboda and Czech multimillionaire Zdenek Bakala. Under sports director Svoboda, however, the club never came to rest and things went downhill from a sporting point of view. The team is currently second to last in the National League. (SDA)
