10 km sprint in Slovenia
Hartweg is back in the top 20
Niklas Hartweg leads a strong Swiss team with four runners in the top 31 in the World Cup sprint for biathletes on the Pokljuka in 17th place.

The winner of the 10 km sprint in Pokljuka? Once more Johannes Thingnes Bö.
Hartweg misses out on another top ten finish by just a single miss in the very last shot. The 22-year-old from Schwyz has already made two exploits this season with places 2 and 5 and is now also convincing with his consistency. In seven races, the part-time rapper has never placed worse than 21st.
The width of the Swiss team at the Slovenian World Cup location in 2021 is pleasing. Like Hartweg, Sebastian Stalder also made a shooting error, and the Zurich Oberlander finally finished 19th. Graubünden’s Serafin Wiestner (23rd/2 errors) achieved the best result in four years and Jeremy Finello (31st/2) just missed out on the top 30.
The victory goes once again to Norway to the superior Johannes Thingnes Bö. Despite a shooting error, he distances his flawless older brother Tarjei Bö by 48 seconds. (SDA)
