Friborg’s Christoph Bertschy (No. 28) pokes the puck over the line against Geneva-Servette.
As if they really wanted to let off steam again before they sat down in front of the Christmas tree. It was heated in the hockey stadiums in the final round before the holidays and the New Year. Three scenes in particular had it all.
In Kloten – Lugano (6:3), Kloten striker Marc Marchon and Lugano striker Daniel Carr got in each other’s way. Gloves and fists flew. And then both with a residual exclusion from the ice.
Nasty check against Noreau: Zug’s roughneck Abdelkader with the rest of the exclusion(00:47)
Zug – SCRJ Lakers 3: 4 nP
An unpleasant incident occurred at Zug – SCRJ Lakers (3:4 nP), when EVZ roughneck Justin Abdelkader checked Rappi defender Maxim Noreau from behind into the rink. For Abdelkader, too, the game came to an early end. Luckily Noreau was able to continue playing.
After checking against Marti: Game Three – Ambri’s star alien needs a shower(01:36)
There was also a heavy check at Ambri – ZSC Lions (6:2) when Ambri’s new foreigner Alex Formenton let ZSC giant Christian Marti fly into the gang. In his third game for the Leventine, the Canadian was already penalized with the first remaining suspension. Luckily, Marti was unhurt. (times)
