Here’s an Instagram picture, there’s a reply on Twitter, plus a message on Facebook: There are some athletes who find social media activities easy. Wendy Holdener (29) was not part of this group for a long time. “Is correct. I was always stressed, I really wanted to post something. But then I thought too much about what to write,” she says. The consequence? She wasted unnecessary energy.

That ended a long time ago. Not because, like Lara Gut-Behrami (31), she would have closed these channels. No, Holdener just takes it easy. It’s the same recipe that led her to her first two slalom wins this season. “I don’t put anything on it for a week if I think there’s nothing to report,” she says.
