The Israel Albert Einstein Hospital in Sao Paolo has published the details of the death of its famous patient under the “Medical Bulletins” section. Brazilian football legend Pelé died there at the age of 82 on Thursday, December 29 at 3:27 p.m. This corresponds to 7:27 p.m. Swiss time.
Pelé was registered under his full civil name Edson Arantes do Nascimento. Cause of death: Multiple organ failure as a result of colon cancer in connection with a previous illness.
