Lionel Messi has treated himself to a day of winter vacation with his family. The Argentinian and his loved ones decided to go to Valais for the short trip.

It’s been a little over a month since Lionel Messi was crowned world champion on the warm night of Qatar.
Since then he hasn’t been back on the football pitch for a serious fight too often. The 35-year-old was given a well-deserved break for several games at his club Paris Saint-Germain. Messi has only had to appear twice this year for PSG.
On Tuesday Messi was able to enjoy another day off. He used it for a family trip to Switzerland!
Messi in the ski area – but not on skis
Together with his wife Antonella Roccuzzo (34) and their children Thiago (10), Mateo (7) and Ciro (4), the Argentinian superstar traveled to Crans-Montana in Valais to spend a day in the ski area.
Pictures and a video on Antonella Roccuzzo’s Instagram profile show the Messis in the snow-covered mountain resort, on the ski lift or skiing on the slopes. Whereby Lionel Messi apparently renounces the activities on the skis. It is quite possible that he is contractually prohibited from skiing – like other football professionals – at PSG.

Lionel Messi shouldn’t be able to stay in holiday mode for too long. PSG face Reims in Ligue 1 on Sunday. After rather mixed performances in the championship and a recent defeat against Rennes, the pursuers have closed in on the reigning champion again. A rested Messi could provide an upswing again.
