Back in Buffalo: Damar Hamlin.
Damar Hamlin was able to travel back to Buffalo from Cincinnati. “I’m grateful for the great treatment I received in Cincinnati,” he tweeted on Monday. “I’m glad to be back in Buffalo. The doctors and nurses at Buffalo General already make me feel at home.”
Hamlin went into cardiac arrest after a routine tackle during Monday’s game between the Cincinnati Bengals and Buffalo Bills and required CPR. The game was canceled.
The 24-year-old watched yesterday’s victory of the Bills against the New England Patriots (35:23) in Cincinnati from his sick bed. In the run-up to the game, he could be seen “live on the sidelines” via video call. “GameDay… There’s nothing I want more than to run out of this tunnel with my brothers,” Hamlin wrote. (yap/AFP)
