Omlin has to admit defeat to Marseille

Goalkeeper Jonas Omlin is not to be envied in the 2-1 defeat against Marseille: After a header from Veretout, the Swiss national team goalkeeper unpacks a strong save for Montpellier – but Tavarez’s follow-up shot is in the game (47th). And at 0:2 teammate Esteve overcomes him with an own goal after a corner kick (61st).

Omlin is also in focus in other scenes: At the beginning of the game he just manages to steer a failed cross from Marseille international Clauss onto the crossbar (18th). And shortly before the end he prevented another goal with a strong save against Ünder (83rd). The connection goal via penalty by Montpellier’s Savanier in stoppage time (91st) no longer earns any points.
