Jesper Peltonen leaves Kloten in spring and moves to Lugano.
Like his father Ville, Jesper Peltonen will wear the HC Lugano jersey from next season. The Finnish defender with a Swiss license is moving from EHC Kloten to Ticino on a two-year contract.
Like his twin brother Aleksi, Helsinki-born Jesper Peltonen bought his first player’s license in Lugano at a time when his father was scoring goals in the first team and captained the club to their seventh and final league title in 2006.
24-year-old Jesper Peltonen completed his junior training in North America and has been playing for newly promoted EHC Kloten since this season.
Conz extended by one year, Kostner by two years
HC Ambri-Piotta will continue to rely on Benjamin Conz’s services next season. The Spengler Cup winner has extended the expiring contract with the 31-year-old goalkeeper by one year.
In addition, Diego Kostner signed a new two-year contract with the Leventine team. The Swiss-licensed Italian forward is in his seventh season with Ambri, with Conz in his sixth. (SDA)
