After Mikhail Mudryk’s transfer from Donetsk to Chelsea for over 100 million dollars, the Ukrainian club makes a nice statement.
Michailo Mudryk is moving from Shakhtar Donetsk to Chelsea in the Premier League for around $100 million (70 million transfer fee, 30 million bonus payments). The offensive player is not only a new record departure from the Ukrainian league, but is now also raising money for a good cause.
According to Shakhtar’s President Rinat Akhmetov, the association is donating $25 million to wounded Ukrainian soldiers and their families. “The money will be used to cover various needs – from medical and prosthetic treatment and psychological support to the fulfillment of specific wishes,” Akhmetov said on his association’s website.
