Biathlon Pursuit in Slovenia
Swiss women convince – Baserga with career best result
A pleasing team result: In the pursuit over 10 km in Pokljuka, four Swiss women finished in the top 20.
The Swiss (here Amy Baserga) shine with their team performance.
In the pursuit race in Pokljuka (Slo), Amy Baserga was classified as the best Swiss in 12th place, with Aita Gasparin only two places behind. In addition to Elisa Gasparin, who finished 17th, Lena Häcki-Gross also finished 19th in the top 20.
For Amy Baserga, it’s a career high. The 22-year-old from Einsiedeln almost perfectly uses the template from the sprint with 14th place. Only a missed shot clouds the picture.
Lea Meier, who scored World Cup points for the first time in Thursday’s sprint, rounded off the strong team result with 24th place. She started from 32nd place. Victory goes to Elvira Öberg from Sweden. Dorothea Wierer (It) and Julia Simon (Fra) complete the podium. (SDA)
