On Saturday at the home game against Servette, the ZSC fans will show their good side.
Bad scenes happened in Rapperswil-Jona on the penultimate Saturday. ZSC chaos and German football supporters of SC Freiburg, with whom the Zurich team has been a fan friend for five years, had set Pyros on fire in the stadium, which is why the game almost ended. There was also rioting, pyro throws and an attempt to storm the SCRJ Lakers dressing room before and after the game.
These incidents have consequences. The league took the following measures: For ZSC fans, choreos and fan paraphernalia are prohibited until further notice, in the Swiss Life Arena and away from home. The cascade model of the National League applies here: the next step would be access exclusively after ID checks, then the reduction in the guest sector would follow – up to a total ban.

The sanctions are supported by the Lions, CEO Peter Zahner told MySports on Friday.
“We bear the consequences ourselves”
On Saturday at the home game against Servette, in the fourth ZSC bankruptcy (1: 4) in a row, the fans of the “Limmatblock” take a position on the situation. A leaflet says: “First of all, we would like to apologize to the club, the team and all those who were affected by the consequences this week and suffered damage from the behavior of some.” The fan organization continues: “In Rapperswil, there have been incidents that we as a Limmat block cannot stand behind.” You lost control of what was happening. And at the very end it is made clear: “We brought ourselves into this situation. And we bear the consequences ourselves.”
In the absence of drums and other fan paraphernalia, the repentant fans then show themselves creatively against Servette: They take off their shoes and clapping them rhythmically. They also show their good side in other respects. (sr)
