For neo-tiger Matthias Rossi (32), the game on Saturday in Biel is over early: After a cross check from behind against Luca Cunti, the beefy striker (184 cm, 104 kg) has to take a shower. After almost 40 minutes, his second game for the Emmentaler is over.
In the first game for his new colors (last Tuesday) he caused a scare when he (unintentionally) cleared his former team-mate Marcus Sorensen. The Swedish striker remains unhurt.
Despite this adversity, Rossi seems to be somehow a lucky charm for the Tigers: two games, two wins. 5-0 against Fribourg, 3-1 in Biel. convincing. Langnau is still sniffing at 10th place – the chance for the pre-playoffs is alive.

Also thanks to Rossi? The Aargauer was detached to Langnau earlier this week, his contract in Friborg would have expired at the end of the season.
Although Rossi hasn’t delivered anything that can be counted since arriving in Emmental, the Tigers have been impressive since then with a lot of efficiency – and hardly conceded goals.
