It has been clear since last October that Nik Tominec will resign from the service of the cadets after the current championship for health reasons.

With the exception of a one-year stint in Kriens-Lucerne, the 31-year-old former Swiss international spent his entire sporting career with the Kadetten Schaffhausen. He scored over 600 goals. With the Munotstädter he became Swiss champion five times and twice cup winner.

Before Tominec completely dedicated himself to the sport of handball, he also played football for the youth team at FC Luzern and for a year and a half as a professional with six-time Slovenian champions Olimpija Ljubljana. (SDA)
