Promoted Kloten has arrived in the National League with surprising consistency and strong performances. Also thanks to the coaching of the clever and persistent trainer Jeff Tomlinson. Next season, however, the Canadian will no longer be part of the Kloten gang – for health reasons. The 52-year-old will continue to support the club in an advisory capacity.

Tomlinson’s role at EHC Kloten was already discussed in the spring, just one day after the final against Olten and the successful promotion. Because the club had put out feelers for possible coach candidates. But before the start of the National League season in September, both the club management and Tomlinson himself emphasized that his health was not a major limitation and that he could focus on his coaching job – also thanks to an enlarged coaching staff. The promotion coach and his team have already provided enough evidence of this.
