Jonathan Ang causes a sensation in Kloten and the National League.
He is one of the great discoveries of this season. The refreshing performances of promoted Kloten are consistent with his name. Jonathan Ang, Canadian with Malaysian roots, causes a stir with his spectacular style of play. Reason enough for MySports to shoot a documentary about the striker. The work by Sven Schoch entitled “Big Ang – magical” will premiere on Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. on MySports One.
A central aspect of the film is the special connection between Ang, who is celebrating his 25th birthday at the premiere today, and Kloten trainer Jeff Tomlinson (52). For the spectacle striker, Tomlinson is a main factor in his personal and Klotener success: “If you ask anyone from the team, then he’s probably one of the best coaches we’ve ever had in life, including for me. He can see the games differently. He takes the players on board. Jeff involves the players. He’s such a good coach, has such a huge impact, he cools us down, he educates us. He’s helping us tremendously.”

Tomlinson, who will step down as Kloten coach at the end of the season for health reasons, is returning the flowers and is enthusiastic about Ang: “He knows exactly what he wants and delivers his performance every day. Ang is a fighter who wants to achieve his big goals.” Tomlinson obviously trusts his current protégé to jump into the NHL, saying: “We have a lot of scouts here at our games every night and they also see what Ang is doing for things.” (just)
