Halvor Egner Granerud only qualified 13th in Innsbruck with a jump of 116 meters. His first pursuer, on the other hand, the World Cup leader Dawid Kubacki from Poland, wins the competition with 128 meters.
Gregor Deschwanden will also push off the beam at Bergisel on Wednesday. The Lucerne lands after 114 meters (35th) and caught one of the heaviest possible opponents in a knockout duel: German Markus Eisenbichler won the world championship title on this hill in 2019.
