For the second time, the Women’s Super League will be decided in a playoff format. The final takes place at a neutral venue – this year it will be the Kybunpark in St. Gallen. This was announced by the Swiss Football Association on Tuesday morning.
The game will take place on Friday, June 2, 2023 at 8 p.m. “The infrastructure in St. Gallen offers an atmospheric and high-quality setting for a grand final,” says Marion Daube, director of women’s football at the SFV.
Last season, the playoff final took place in Lausanne, where the women of FC Zurich defeated Servette on penalties. (bjl)
