In South Florida, a notable real estate developer is pushing the limits of luxury — in a market where lavish homes with extraordinary features and generous waterfronts are already the name of the game.
Aldo Stark of Prestige Design Homes has recently completed another project in Delray Beach’s gated Stone Creek Ranch community: an Italian-inspired contemporary estate dubbed Palazzo di Lago (The Palace on the Lake) that’s now being brought to market for $45 million.
Stark was also behind the ultra-luxurious Villa Spectre, a James Bond-inspired $55 million megamansion and an equally (if not more) impressive Casa Maranello, a $55 million Ferrari mansion dubbed after the Italian municipality where the luxury cars are built.
Both properties had a very short run on the market — despite the premium price tags — selling for a combined $110 million.
Now, the same agent that found a buyer for Stark’s previous two Stone Creek Ranch megamansions, Senada Adžem of Douglas Elliman, is in charge of marketing the newly listed Palazzo di Lago.

The megamansion is nestled within the pricey Stone Creek Ranch residential community, one of the most coveted and elite destinations in Palm Beach County — and that says something, given that Palm Beach County is home to the nation’s most expensive listings.
Consisting of only 37 ultra-luxury estates (that have sold for exorbitant amounts), the prestigious enclave often graces the pages of luxury home magazines with its stately mansions and manicured grounds.
Matching the grandeur of the homes in the tony South Florida enclave, the newly completed mansion boasts an Italianate-inspired facade, and is said to have been inspired “by the tranquil glamour of Lake Como and infused with the seductive allure of Bond’s Casino Royale”.
It’s now being touted as “one of the most distinguished and impeccably executed residential compounds in the United States,” per the listing.
The $45,000,000 asking price also factors in the lavish furnishings, as the Delray Beach mansion comes fully furnished — with carefully curated pieces to match its grandeur.
Set on an expansive 2.5-acre lakefront lot at 9200 Rockybrook Way in Delray Beach, the supersized mansion spans an extraordinary 26,000 total square feet, including 18,600 square feet of interior living space.
That includes a total of 7 bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, a wellness wing, a private tennis court and a saltwater lagoon pool, among many other ritzy features.
The interiors reflect a refined European soul with a Floridian spirit. Hallways clad in high-gloss Brazilian Guyana wood create a rich, tactile flow throughout the residence.
Italian stone, custom European finishes, and a moody color palette of mocha, burnt sienna, and soft beige provide warmth and depth.
A lavish two-story foyer leads to the home’s grand salon — a formal space adorned with crystal chandeliers custom-designed for the trophy home. The formal room also has soaring 30-foot ceilings and expansive walls of glass that overlook the outdoor areas.
Purposefully designed for elevated entertaining, the residence includes a Club Room with a dramatic backlit bar and billiards area. Sliding glass doors open to the outdoor areas, blurring the lines between the interiors and the equally party-ready spaces outside.
At the heart of the residence is a chef’s kitchen wrapped in rare walnut and accented with Italian gray marble. A secondary catering kitchen is discreetly tucked away for seamless service during events.
Right past the kitchen we find a large family room — one that borrows some of the most striking design elements and pairs them with vibrant moss-like ceilings and lots of warm wood, to soften the look and make it more inviting.
Completing this family-friendly space is a classy breakfast room tucked to the side that features a glowing white agate wall.
Other standout interior spaces include a primary suite with his-and-hers spa-inspired bathrooms (featuring mother-of-pearl inlay floors) and a boutique-style dressing room, and several home offices — each designed with distinct aesthetics to suit varying tastes.
The wellness wing includes a fully equipped gym, sauna, and massage room, with other indoor amenities including a custom-designed home theater.
Outside, the elegant estate transforms into a dreamlike resort by night.
The pool and spa are framed by lush landscaping and illuminated by custom lighting that casts soft glows across the vast property.
Water features, an outdoor chess set, and towering palm trees create the resort-like feel. Nearby, a fully outfitted cabana features a private bath, kitchen, and bar for outdoor entertaining.
Completing this exquisite offering is a car gallery to display prized car collections, a hidden cigar lounge with advanced air purification, and a fully equipped guest house for visiting family or staff.
