Pahadi Bhindi, Anyone?

Forget your usual bhindi recipes and try Pahadi Bhindi or Pahadi Masala Bhindi, a recipe by Chief Foodie Officer.

Ingredients 

250 gm of bhindi 3 tbsp of oil 1.5 tsp of cumin seeds 1.5 tsp of mustard seeds 1 tsp of hing 1.5 tsp of amchur powder Small bunch of coriander leaves 4/5 garlic cloves 2/3 pieces of ginger 1 green chilli 1 tsp of turmeric powder 1.5 tsp of coriander powder 1/2 tsp of garam masala Salt as per taste

Wash and dry the bhindi or ladyfingers with a dry cloth. And cut them into small pieces.

Step 1

Make a puree by blending coriander leaves, garlic cloves, ginger, green chilli, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala and salt. Keep this aside.

Step 2 

Saute cumin seeds, mustard seeds, hing and amchur powder in oil. Add the ladyfinger pieces, saute and keep it aside.

Step 3

In the same pan, roast the freshly made green puree well.

Step 4

Add back the roasted bhindi into the green masala and let it cook. Your Pahadi Bhindi is ready. Enjoy with rotis.
