The British Royal Mail is experiencing delays in the delivery of mail after an unspecified network problem. International shipments are also affected. A statement said it was temporarily unable to ship export items, including letters and packages, to overseas destinations.
“We have asked our customers to temporarily stop sending export mail,” Royal Mail said. An investigation has been launched. “We work with external experts,” it said. The security authorities have also been informed. The background to the incident was initially unclear. (SDA/dept.)
