Demonstration against Albania’s Vlora Airport
A new airport has been under construction in the port city of Vlora in southern Albania since December 2021. Environmentalists are now demonstrating against the new construction project. According to the demonstrators, the new airport endangers the protected areas for countless migratory birds.
