A lawyer for the politician found about a dozen documents in his house in the state of Indiana last week, the broadcaster CNN reported on Tuesday. The documents have since been picked up by the federal police.
The 63-year-old was Vice President Donald Trump for four years. He appeared as a loyal companion.
