Rinhard Lleshaj, who was born in Albania, visited the Albanian TV show “Fol Shqip Show”.
Rinhard Lleshaj (40) came to Switzerland from Albania as a baby and was fascinated by the film world even as a child. He finally turned this passion into a profession. Today he is a successful stuntman, as reported by “Albora”, a news site for the Albanian-speaking diaspora in Switzerland.
Lleshaj was a guest on the “Fol Shqip Show”, an Albanian TV show, and told there how he became a stuntman. “I’ve been interested in films since I was little. In the Swiss village where I lived, there was an electronics store where films cost 20 francs,” he says on the show. And whenever he had enough money, he would go into the shop and get a film, whatever it was.
He prevailed against more than 1000 applicants
He’s always been athletic. Played soccer, learned to box, did karate and kickboxing. As a teenager, he trained to avoid obstacles, including even cars.
And then he entered a stuntman competition. “1,500 people took part in the competition and only ten of them were selected. Then I could really start as a stuntman, »says Lleshaj.
The stuntman has now worked on over 40 films in Switzerland. He is also said to have been involved in Hollywood productions. He is grateful for his wife, who is the greatest support for him. (lrc)
