And that’s exactly what he had forbidden
Zelensky villa in Italy allegedly rented to Russians
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s villa in the Italian town of Forte dei Marmi is said to have recently been rented to Russians from the UK. Selenski expressly did not want that.
Volodymyr Zelensky’s villa in Tuscany is said to have been rented to Russians.
According to the Italian newspaper Il Tirreno, Russian tourists are staying with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy (44). They rented Selenski’s villa in the Tuscan seaside resort of Forte dei Marmi for the summer.
According to the newspaper, Zelensky’s villa was rented by some Russians from London in August. The Russians are said to have paid 50,000 euros to rent the luxury property with 15 rooms and a pool. A Russian also published photos from the garden of the house.
Villa may not be rented to Russians
A local real estate agency is said to have first negotiated with a group of Korean tourists. However, the deal did not go through. Instead, Russians have become the tenants of the holiday home.
However, according to the Italian reports, there is only one condition for the rental: the villa cannot be rented to Russian citizens. Selenski will not like the fact that this should have happened after all.
The Ukrainian President has recently repeatedly asked the West to stop all Russian tourists from entering the country as a reaction to the war in Ukraine. This is the next sanction required to hit Vladimir Putin (69).
Neighbors to the Zelensky villa say they overheard Russian being spoken on the premises. But the brokerage firm is now denying the report by the Italian newspaper.
The agent responsible, Claudio Salvini, says: “What was written is a guess. The villa has been rented out to a couple for the summer. I will not say whether they live in London or not, but I assure you that they cannot be Russians because we are absolutely forbidden to rent to Russians and Ukrainians.”
According to him, the tenants of the house could have had Russian-speaking guests. However, in principle, someone else could have rented the villa – and let Russians move in.

According to the investigative platform “Slidstvo”, the Selenskis are said to have bought the villa in 2017 for 3.8 million euros. Russian oligarchs like former Chelsea boss Roman Abramovich (55) also have luxury villas in the town. (eu)
